COVID-19 Notice
As the world has marked a full year of experiencing an outbreak of the corona virus (COVID-19), we have issued this update of the situation at the Club. The Commonwealth Club is open, and following current protocols and restrictions mandated by the State of New Jersey. Bowling is available, although the number of people allowed in the lanes is 24 at this time, as capacities in the building has increased to 50%. The board is reassessing the situation every two weeks and acting accordingly. At the moment, new social events are in the planning stage, pending further re-evaluation as this situation changes, especially with the rollout of vaccines. Rentals of the Club are also available for events that fit the current guidelines. As vaccines arrive and are widely distributed, we expect that things will slowly slide back to some sort of normalcy.
We continue to act in full compliance with the CDC, local and state health authorities. We remain focused on preventing the spread of the virus and continue to act with an abundance of caution in our decisions pertaining to the health and safety of all who enter the club. The Club is being cleaned repeatedly from top to bottom during this time to further ensure the safety and well being of all who enter our doors.
Members are able to use the club and bring friends and family, as long as the protocols are kept. Masks are required to be worn inside at all times.
Wishing you and your families health and safety and a swift end to this pandemic. Get your shot, stay safe and be healthy!
