Halloween Costume Portraits for Groceries
October 31, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Halloween is coming! Sunday, Oct. 31st! And once again, in conjunction with The Commonwealth Club of Montclair, Portraits by Michael Stahl will be creating Halloween portraits of costumed kids. Michael, and volunteers from The Commonwealth Club, will ensure that we have a Covid-compliant, safe, socially-distanced, event.
You will be able to “pay” for your session in one of two ways: Bring a full bag of non-perishable groceries or a gently used, or better yet, a new winter coat. The food will be donated to Toni’s Kitchen and the Human Needs Food Pantry. The coats will be delivered to the Salvation Army of Montclair.
These donations are urgently needed this year in particular, as normal resources have been stretched to the limit.
The sessions will take place between 2 and 6 pm at The Commonwealth Club, 26 Northview Avenue, Montclair. There is an ample parking lot to accommodate cars and people alike while waiting for your portrait session.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. The images will be distributed on Facebook after the event. A model release, signed by an adult, is required.
We could also use a few volunteers to manage donations and crowd control.
