102nd Annual Jess Dodd Endurance Contest
January 24, 2015 @ 10:30 am - 6:00 pm
$20 – $40Polanskyj-Murray Repeat as Endurance Champs
Boh Polanskyj and Jimmy Murray combined to roll 2352 with handicaps and win their second straight Jess Dodd Endurance Contest title yesterday.
John Hartinger (1240) took home the Conover Trophy for high individual series with handicap, his second encounter with the hardware in six years. The 102nd Endurance, ably directed again by John Anderson, drew nine two-man teams who bowled three games, ate club pizza and uncorked another three.
Bob Critides presaged tomorrow’s end-of-the-world storm when he sunk to third place from the usual runner-up spot he has occupied after multiple past Endurance, Melville and Turkey Shoot starts. He and John Wisniewski were nosed out for second in by Hartinger and Don Henry.
So thanks and congrats for coming out. Endure one more frame, if you would: If you haven’t yet, please take a few minutes and check out You Need to Know This About Bowling. So here’s the scoop:
What: Two-man teams bowl six games with handicap. $20 per man entry fee. $20 value table prize. All money and prizes are distributed to participants.
