Mountie Football Team Night

My fellow Montclair High School Alumni (and other interested members):
In keeping with the club’s mission to promote sociability and good fellowship in the community, the Commonwealth Club has once again invited the Montclair Mountie football team to our clubhouse for a pizza dinner and some football on TV. The date is Friday, October 9th. Mountie football-supporting and any other interested members are free to come by and meet the 2014 Group V Football State Champs. Members’ children who would like to meet the team and coaching staff are also welcome.
This is not an official club event, so we’re asking for member donations, especially MHS Alumni members, to provide about 80 student-athletes with hot dogs, pizza, water, Gatorade snacks, etc.
We are still short of covering the costs so if you would like to help with this Club community outreach event of support, please contact me at mark.menton@gmail.com or put a donation in the Club’s office mail slot in an envelope noted for Mountie Night. A donation of $10 will buy a pizza or a case Gatoraide.
The Mounties appreciate the Commonwealth Club’s hospitality and after winning three straight state championships, they see this annual dinner as good luck and want to keep the tradition going!
This is not a rental or private event so the club remains open for members, their kids and friends to come and meet the players and coaches of the team. The team is made up of great young people who set a fine example for Montclair youth. Your support to help show these kids that the Commonwealth Club supports them is appreciated. And your generosity is very much appreciated.
